Justin Bieber is a Canadian singer, record producer and songwriter who was discovered via YouTube. His debut album, My World was released in 2009, which was certified Platinum in US. Justin, after this first release, became the first artist to ever get seven songs on the Billboard Hot 100, on debut. The pop-star released his first full-length studio album in the year 2010 by the name My World 2.0. It was certified as triple platinum in the US and debuted as one of the top albums in several countries. After this, Bieber brought out his most successful single to date, Baby which was certified as 12X- platinum in the US.

Justin was born on 1st March, 1994 in the city of London in Ontario, Canada. His father, Jeremy Jack Bieber and mother, Patricia Mallette were not married each other. He was brought up in Stratford, Ontario with his mother and his grandmother, Diane, along with his step-grandfather, Bruce. Bieber’s mother has French-Canadian ancestry, while his father has a German heritage, and his other also has Irish and English ancestors. Bieber also has two half-siblings from his father’s side.

Justin Bieber went to Jeanne Sauve Catholic School in Stanford. Justin Bieber What Did You Mean
From the Justin Bieber – What Did You Mean? music video

At an age of 12, Justin Bieber sang in a local competition and won the second position. His mother uploaded the video of his complete performance on YouTube to share it with relatives and friends. After that, she continued uploading Bieber’s videos of singing various popular songs, and slowly he started becoming popular on the site.

Justin Bieber was discovered when Scooter Braun, who had worked as a marketing executive with So So Def Recordings. He actually clicked on a 2007 YouTube video of Justin, by accident. He was immediately impressed upon listening to Bieber’s voice and tracked him down. Justin Bieber’s mother was reluctant at first, believe it or not, because of Braun’s Judaism. But upon getting convinced from a church elder, she finally agreed to it. Justin was then flown to Atlanta, Georgia to record samples and just within a week he had started singing for Usher. All this at a young age of thirteen.

The first single of Justin Bieber, One Time, was on the radio, when Bieber had not yet even finished recording his first album. During its first week of release, the song reached number 12 on the Canadian Hot 100 and later listed as number seventeen on Billboard Top 100. His first release was named My World, which eventually became platinum in the US. The album also earned a double platinum in both UK and Canada. For the promotion of the album Bieber performed on many tours and European Programs.

The famous song, Baby, was released in January 2010 from Bieber’s album, My World 2.0. The song got international recognition and marked its presence in the top 5 in both Canadian Hot 100 and Billboard Hot 100 list. When the whole album was released it gained favorable reviews and made an entry into the US Billboard chart. The immense success of the album made Bieber the youngest male solo artist to top this chart since the sixties.

The band team Walk The Moon’s new album, Talking is Hard, is really a striking declaration from the band renowned for their cheerful, cool model of rock ‘n roll. Motivated by many years on the streets and rising from several weeks in the studio, Walk The Moon is definitely unafraid to deal with their hearts as well as their ambition, as can be plainly seen by the way the band is
manifesting itself.

walkthemoon
Established in Cincinnati by singer “Nicholas Petricca”, The astounding Walk The Moon band team developed a passionate pursuing on the strength of their thrilled live show in addition to their unquestionably contagious single “Anna Sun.” A constant touring machine having an eversnowballing number of fans, this rock band rapidly graduated from Ohio club proving to be favorites of a global power to be reckoned with.
In concert, it is crystal clear that the live performance isn’t exactly a spectator game. As an alternative, it is an entertaining special event of life and adoration, a communal resolve for persistence to joy and living in the moment. Even if the performance doesn’t add up to everyone’s taste, the mood and atmosphere should. When the group completed visiting in support of their self-titled 2012 RCA debut, Petricca discovered something completely new in his hands: and that is time.
The band hunkered down in a repurposed Masonic Lodge in Dayton, KY, which was the site of some interesting findings, including photography, ghosts, screen printers, graffiti artists, as well as taxidermy, and secret places. Coming together in unison right underneath a tremendous limelight, which had once served the purpose of a ceremonial altar, this band team began the work of composing an complete album completely from scratch for the 1st time as a music group. Working difficult, long, 14-hour days for weeks on end, this guitar rock band pushed by themselves further than any prior innovative limitations by having a bold sense of abandoning.

After six weeks of those race composing periods, this rock band shifted to North Hollywood, where they joined the studio with producer Tim Pagnotta. What cam after that was over two solid months of recording. The group eagerly wanted to achieve new levels together with the album’s
production, so they worked hard for it.
The outcomes speak on their own. Lead single “Shut Up And Dance” is definitely an indisputable pop-rock anthem. An ode to releasing yourself from the shackles of selfconsciousness and enjoying the current, right now it serves as an active favorite, having a singalong chorus that actually works audiences up right into a frenzy. Because they go back to the street, this world class performer team is discovering that the darkness is filled with keen fans and soon-to-be-converts, all shouting back, performing along before the lights come up.

That is the brief history of Walk The Moon. Since its beginning till now it is splashing the viewers with the magic of outstanding performance. It’s every stage performance is bright, having its own glory. After a lot struggle Walk The Moon has established itself as a leading band in the world. The thousands of fans are the signs of it’s vast popularity.

samsmithBorn in London on May 19th, 1992, Samuel Frederick “Sam” Smith is 22 years old to date. He loved singing even at a young age and exhibited natural talent from the very start, beginning to perform as a child. In 2009 at fifteen years of age he got his first real press, even though he had only recorded two songs by that time. His mother, who worked as a successful banker, ended up getting fired from her job because she had allegedly been promotion Smith’s singing career while she was on the clock. Sam Smith attended St. Mary’s Catholic School located in Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire. While studying his books he also delved into music, keeping his musical career in mind. He found inspiration from artists like Stevie Wonder and Aretha Franklin.

The English singer and songwriter gained popularity in the year 2012 after making an appearance on Disclosure’s single called “Latch.” Not long after that he was featured on Naughty Boy’s “La La La.” May of 2013 saw him earn his first number one single, and in December of the same year he was nominated for both the BBCs Sound of 2014 Poll and 2014 BRIT critics’ Choice Award and he won in both cases. His debut studio album In The Lonely Hour was released in May, 2014.

Sam Smith’s singles achieved astonishing success, his second number one single in the UK happened to also be his second single, “Money on My Mind.” “Stay With Me” was his third single and it became an international success. It climbed to number one in the United Kingdom as well as number two on the United States Billboard Hot 100. “I’m Not The Only One” his fourth single reached the top five in both countries, and “Like I Can,” his fifth single, became number 9 in the UK. Smith was nominated for six Grammy Awards in December 2014, and in February of 2015 at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards he won four. He won In The Lonely Hour for Best Pop Vocal Album, Best New Artist, and “Stay With Me” for Record of the Year and Song of the Year. He also won an award for Global Success and the award for British Breakthrough Act at the 2015 Brit Awards.

Metacritic gave In The Lonely Hour 6.6/10 stars. Fans claim that even if the songs are not always happy and some are out of his range, the music is full of genuine emotion and soul. Some call the album a “winter” album, not quite in sync with the upbeatness of summer, but rather mellow and somber. Multiple critics have argued that one song cannot be distinguished from another on the album, and others say that the record isn’t right for him. At worst the album has been called boring and disappointing, but Sam Smith has attracted enough fans that he will surely get another chance at a record, possibly exploring his horizons to what fits him best. Other people may argue he already has found his groove, and maybe that’s true. Only time will tell for sure.

Justin Bieber is a Canadian-born singer and songwriter. His genre of music is pop, typically targeted at teenaged girls. For this reason, he’s seen by many as a teenage heartthrob. Originally a YouTuber with a supportive fan base, Bieber was discovered in 2007 when his current manager accidentally clicked on one of his videos, while searching for a different user. Shortly thereafter, Justin Bieber became an overnight celebrity, teaming up with singer-songwriter Usher to become an international sensation.

In late 2009, Bieber released his studio EP, titled, My World. He later released a full version of the EP under the title My World 2.0 in 2010, after following commercial success of its original release. He became the first artist to have seven songs from a debut record appear on the Billboard Hot 100. His next two releases—Under the Mistletoe and Believe—each topped the Billboard 200.

In addition to his commercial success as a pop star idol, Bieber also has a successful line of perfumes and colognes. At the time of its release, Someday was one of the most bought celebrity based perfumes of that year, easily surpassing 3 million dollars in less than three weeks. The perfume was made with his large female audience in mind.

The overwhelming success of Bieber’s cologne and perfume line is due to his huge and highly supportive fan base, referred to as Beliebers.  Having followed him since his days as a YouTube star, Bieber’s fan base has only grown in size and adoration for the young artist.

When not in the studio recording music or creating amazing perfumes and colognes, Justin spends his time frequenting The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Together, the two of them have engaged in prank phone calls, dressing Bieber up as a security guard, and tricking their fans into thinking they’re making out.

Most recently, Justin Bieber appeared on Ellen’s show with iconic singer Madonna. Despite their lives being left open for the public through the paparazzi, both Justin and Madonna managed to reveal well-kept secrets otherwise hidden from their fans. Topics for discussion included dating a person and their sibling, getting kicked out of bars, forgetting the person’s name they were hooking up with, and engaging in phone sex.

On another episode of the show, Bieber told Ellen of his upcoming roast on Comedy Central, hosted by Kevin Hart. The two talked briefly about how he might be feeling, before Ellen unleashed a Calvin Klein model, who leaped from a hiding place and pranked the young artist. Ellen commented that since she wouldn’t be on the Comedy Central Roast alongside him, she had to get her prank in while she could. Bieber remained in a slightly shaken state while Ellen and the audience laughed at his reaction to the prank.

In a special sneak peak of his upcoming Roast, Justin Bieber was teased about his rise to stardom, jokingly referred to as the Prince Joffrey of pop by Jeff Ross, a former roast master. The Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber airs Monday, March 30 on Comedy Central. Tune in to see one of the pop’s most iconic singers roasted at the hands of close friends and fans alike.

frozen

Think you know everything there is to know about the music of Frozen? Think again! Consider the following trivia that might just surprise you.

Alan Menken was once going to write the music

Alan Menken, best known for his work on the music of The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and The Hunchback of Notre Dame, was originally slated to write the music for Frozen. At least one demo from his early work on the film, called Love Can’t Be Denied, was completed. However, Menken eventually left the project, allegedly after the story drifted too far from The Snow Queen storyline.

Let It Go was written in a single day

The co-writers of the music for Frozen wrote its most famous song, Let It Go, in a single day. The writers revealed that they went for a walk in the park to hash out some lyrics and were able to come up with multiple lines while walking; they finished the rest of the song in their apartment.

Two Elsa voice actresses have a “wicked” connection

Idina Menzel, the voice of Elsa in the English dub of the film, is perhaps best known for her role as the original Broadway Elphaba (the Wicked Witch of the West) in Wicked: the Musical. The official actress for the German dub of the film, Willemijn Verkaik, was the original Elphaba in the German production of the musical. She has also gone on to play the role in multiple countries, including the Netherlands, Americana, and the United Kingdom.

Frozen will become a Broadway musical

It was recently announced that Disney Theatricals plans to bring Frozen to Broadway sometime in the future. Disney Theatricals has adapted multiple animated Disney films for the stage, including Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Tarzan, and Aladdin. It may be some time before Frozen appears on stage, however; musical development can take several years, and Disney may need to wait for one of its Broadway theaters to be available.

The songwriters are best known for a non family friendly musical

The songwriters for Frozen, Robert and Kristen Lopez, are best known for their award winning work on a decidedly non-family friendly musical: The Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon was co-written and produced by the creators of South Park, which should give a general idea of the maturity level of the content involved. Their work in the show earned them many awards, including the Tony Awards for Best Book of a Musical and Best Original Score.

heat

Beyoncé is best known for her stunning vocals and her award-winning, chart-topping music; but Beyoncé’s talent isn’t limited to singing, dancing and entertaining. She has also participated in several fashion and design related projects, including the release of her very own fragrance in 2010. Beyoncé’s first fragrance, Heat, went on to win numerous awards from fragrance organizations; it was (and continues to be) a very popular seller. But is “Heat” really all it’s cracked up to be? The following is a review of Beyoncé’s 2010 “Heat” perfume.

Notes

Heat is a sweet, fruity fragrance with undercurrents of musk, almond and floral scents. The top notes of the fragrance (as officially described) are: neroli, peach, magnolia, and orchid. The official middle notes are musk, honeysuckle, almond, and macarons. The base notes are amber, tonka bean, and sequoia.

The official notes differ from the actual scent of Heat once it is applied on the skin, although that can vary from person to person. The base of the perfume as applied was very floral with a slight woodsy hint from the sequoia, with the almond and tonka bean scents settling towards the middle. The top notes of the applied perfume were a strong peach with a mixture of musk and amber that gives the fragrance a much heavier, musky fruity scent than the description implies.

The musk and amber do begin to dissipate after a while, which helps to bring out the orchid and magnolia floral scents, which combine nicely with the peach to give Heat a slightly more upbeat sensation.

Longevity and Sillage

Heat has moderate longevity and a slightly heavy sillage—or ‘lasting’ impression. The longevity is good for the price of the fragrance and lasts for a few hours at full strength before slowly dissipating into a softer scent and finally disappearing. It is a moderate scent and does not require too many sprays in order to achieve the desired affect. The sillage is slightly heavy which, combined with the musk and amber notes, makes it more of a mature (or even winter) scent than something to wear in the hot summer months.

Packaging

The bottle and color of the liquid fragrance are all packaged very nicely. The bottle is a glass bottle and the fragrance is dyed soft amber red, which gives it a unique appearance that helps it stand out from other perfumes, celebrity or otherwise.

rihanna

Rihanna is one of the most talented, successful artists on the modern music scene. She is well known for her catchy hooks, her great lyrics, and her overall superstar ability. But how much do you really know about this famous singer? Let’s take a look at some interesting trivia facts about Rihanna that may just surprise you.

She was the maid of honor at Katy Perry’s wedding

Katy Perry and Rihanna are close; close enough that Perry chose Rihanna to be her maid of honor at her 2010 wedding. however, Rihanna was unable to attend because of serious conflicts with her work schedule, which didn’t allow her the time to fly out to India.

She believes in ghosts–and won’t go to a popular hotel because of it

Chateau Marmont is one of the most popular hotel destinations for celebrities, but Rihanna won’t go near it. Why? Because she believes it’s haunted. “It’s borrowed space,” the singer said of the building. The hotel has seen many deaths, accidents and negative incidents over the years, including the death of comedian John Belushi.

She sometimes sneaks into her own concerts

Rihanna sometimes disguises herself before her concerts and sneaks out into the audience; she loves to get a feel for the crowd and she gets a kick out of “spying” on them. She often dons a hoodie, which helps give her a nondescript appearance. She doesn’t go alone, however–and always makes sure her personal security is nearby, just in case some fans recognize her and get a little too excited.

She witnessed an exorcism

The Barbados community that Rihanna grew up in was very religious, and she once actually witnessed an exorcism being performed. The exorcism was performed at her friend’s house, on a young girl about the same age as Rihanna at the time. Rihanna recalled in an interview that she saw everyone praying around a table and that suddenly one of the girls “got up and … just started screaming.” The children in the group were then locked inside a bedroom so they wouldn’t have to witness the rest of the exorcism, but they could still hear the girl screaming “in the weirdest voice.”

She loves junk food

One thing that Rihanna can’t go on tour without? Junk food. She loves to bring junk food on her tours, especially food that makes her feel comfortable. Her favorite junk food is Flaming Hot Cheetos.

Blake Shelton is one of the hottest country megastars in the modern country scene. Shelton is perhaps best known for his rise to the top, which took off like lightning with his gig as a judge in the reality competition series The Voice. Today, Shelton is not just “that guy from reality TV” but a full-fledged country singer with his own star power. The following are 5 very surprising facts about country singer Blake Shelton that will probably surprise even his biggest fans!

He first single stayed on the charts for weeks

The very first single released by Shelton–Austin–rose to the number one spot on the charts. This is an amazing enough feat for a first-single, but the real kicker is that Austin stayed in the number one spot for five whole weeks! Since that first hit single, seven different songs released by Shelton have made it to the number one spot on the charts.

The Voice wasn’t his first reality TV show

While he’s best known for his stint on the Voice, it wasn’t the first reality TV show that Shelton participated in. His first reality TV show job was as a coach in Clash of a Choirs, where groups of choirs led by famous singers (including Michael Bolton, Patti LaBelle, and Nick Lachey) competed against each other. Shelton’s group placed third. Shelton also joined Nashville Star as a judge in 2007, but left the show after only one season.

He doesn’t live in Nashville

Unlike most country music stars, Shelton doesn’t live in Nashville, aka the capital of country music. Shelton and his wife Miranda own a large farm in Oklahoma, making them one of the few country music stars to live outside of the main country music scene.

His mother owns a beauty salon

Shelton’s mother, Dorothy Shelton, owns a beloved beauty salon in Ada, Oklahoma. She has owned the salon for several years and it is a popular salon in the relatively small town. And Shelton’s mother isn’t the only one with an interesting career: his father owns a car dealership and his sister works as a jewelry designer.

He loves the Chelsea Lately show

Shelton is a big fan of comedian Chelsea Handler and the late night Chelsea Lately show. In fact, Shelton has visited the show a whopping four times! That is the most visits to the show by any country singer.

mccartneyPaul McCartney is, of course, best known for his part in the famous British singing group The Beatles; but since the group’s split many years ago, McCartney has made a name for himself with his own music, his own projects, and his own personal stardom. How much do you really know about Paul McCartney? Let’s take a look at three interesting facts that most people don’t know about this former Beatle.

He almost won an Academy Award

In 1973, McCartney was approached by two musicians who wanted him to write a theme song for the latest James Bond film, Live and Let Die. McCartney was a fan of the original novel that the film was based on and decided to take on the job. He ended up writing the song in one afternoon and recorded it with the help of George Martin. The song not only topped the charts in the United States, but it was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song. The song ended up losing to The Way We Were.

He played a role in the development of the CAT scan (sort of)

McCartney–and the Beatles–has a link to the development of important CAT scan technology. The link is very much in the style of “six degrees of Kevin Bacon,” but it’s still there! At the height of their popularity, EMI was the Beatle’s record label; EMI also owned a research facility run by a man named Godfrey Hounsfield, who was a pioneer in x-ray tomography. Because the Beatles raked in so much money for their record label, EMI was able to invest enough money into Hounsfield’s research, leading to the development of the first CT scan machines.

He loves to paint

Music and singing aren’t the only creative pursuit that interest McCartney. In the late 1970s, McCartney met the famous artist Willem de Koonig; de Koonig frequently pushed McCartney to take up painting and, after several years, McCartney decided to take de Koonig up on the offer. McCartney quickly realized that he loved to paint and has been painting ever since. He even sells his work, along with the occasional prints of his work, through a website that specializes in selling celebrity-created art. McCartney has said that he loves painting because he doesn’t feel confined or constrained by art; and that, unlike music, there are no rules that forbid him from trying something new or unusual.

The Voice is one of the most popular reality TV shows currently on the air—and its popularity, at times, even exceeds that mainstay of singing TV shows, American Idol. The Voice, like American Idol, is a singing reality competition with the ultimate goal of crowning the winner with the best voice. Unlike American Idol, the Voice uses its panel of judges to create ‘teams’ who get coaching and other benefits from the judge that decides to take them under their wing. This is just one of the few unique factors that has made the Voice so successful and continues to put it in the limelight of reality television. But just how much do you really know about The Voice? Let’s delve into 3 secrets that might just surprise you!

The show’s producers can do anything they want

It’s a common snipe at reality TV to suggest that a competition must be “rigged,” especially if a competitor that many people feel was more talented didn’t win. (American Idol season 2, anyone?) But it’s less well known that, in the case of The Voice, the show can very well be rigged—and it’s plainly stated in the show’s contract.

The contract clearly states that the show’s producers have the right, at any time, to: ‘cut anyone; bend or break rules at their discretion and script winners.’ This essentially means that the producers are allowed to pick a winner and do whatever it takes to see that winner crowned.

Contestants must legally agree to be potentially humiliated or portrayed falsely

Any competitors on the show must agree to a legal contract that states that the show is allowed to “[portray competitors] in a false light,” and that they may be exposed to ‘public ridicule’ or embarrassment because of the show. The contract also states that the producers reserve the right to send contestants for psychological testing, and then air the results in public.

Voting doesn’t always go off as planned

The show is well known for using various times of voting ballots, including online ballots through the multi-media platform, iTunes. In the show’s last spring finale, however, it was revealed that all votes through iTunes would ‘not be counted’ in the finale because there was apparently a glitch in the system. This caused uproar among fans, who claimed that the “glitch” was merely the producers using their powers to rig the results.
