Did you know? Ramsay raises his own turkeys and often names them after celebrities, which Ramsay thinks is hilarious. Six of his famously raised turkeys were named after fellow popular chefs: Nigella Lawson, Gary Rhodes, Ainsley Harriot, Jamie Oliver, Antony Worrall Thompson and Delia Smith.
Trivia: He Almost Succumbed to a Ruptured Spleen
Ramsay is no stranger to illness: during one period in his life, Ramsay suffered from a ruptured spleen which almost caused the famous celebrity chef to lose his life. However, blood transfusions using donated blood red to a slow but steady recovery; due to the life saving measures that could only have been taken because of blood donations, Ramsay has supported the National Blood Service of the UK and even appeared in various advertisements for the organization.
Trivia: He Has Dabbled in Botox
Botox is most often associated with female cosmetic procedures, but it is not just for women: Ramsay has admitted to having multiple Botox injections in the past, which cost him about $2,000 a piece, in order to keep up a youthful appearance. In addition to dabbling in Botox, Ramsay has admitted to cosmetic dentistry procedures and hair transplants to replace his thinned out hairline.
